1. A total mark of every theory course is 100. Here 40 is for in course examination, 10 is for assignment and 50 is for final examination.
2. For the 40 marks of in course examination, minimum 4 tests will be taken. If the course teacher wants the number of tests can be more than 4. In that case total marks of in course examination gained by the students will be converted to 40. Duration of each test will be 30 minutes to 1 hour.
3. For the 10 marks of assignment, students will be told to do an academic task. If the course teacher wants the number of task can be 2 or more. In that case total marks of assignment gained by the students will be converted to 10.
4. For the 50 marks of final examination students will sit for a written test. Here question type, format and marks distribution will be decided by the examination committee. The duration of the examination will not be less than 2 hours.

Evaluation of Practicum Courses

1. Total marks of each of the practicum or internship is 100. 30 is for attendance, 50 is for performances, 10 is for final report and 10 is for viva.
2. The marks of attendance are given on the basis of the calculation of the percentages of attendance.
3. The marks of the performance as a special educator or therapist are given on the basis of the performances reported by the respective classroom teacher, therapist, the section in charge of school of Proyash Specialized Education Programme& the advisor.
4. Final report is submitted to the advisor for marking.
5. After the viva being taken on the practicum works of the student, the marks are given.

Grading System

All results are published as per the rules of University Grant Commission (UGC) Grading. The grading system is based on raw scores. Students belonging to different class intervals are graded according to the following table for each course:

GPA 2.50 is required for certificate. The result of each participant is calculated as grade point average (GPA).
